Regional Development Officer (Grampian)

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for growing the network of clubs, schools, colleges and universities engaged with Badminton Scotland and supporting them to develop opportunities for participation and progression.   Working with clubs to strengthen infrastructure and increase capacity, developing the workforce and creating a strong pathway to ensure equitable badminton opportunities for everyone will be key to the role.

Competition Co-ordinator

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of an effective competition infrastructure within club badminton across Scotland.  Promoting badminton as a competitive sport at all levels of the game from grassroots players right up to national competitions will be a key objective.

In addition, Badminton Scotland has an excellent facility dedicated to badminton but with potential to have its use expanded. Called the Sir Craig Reedie Centre, the Competition Co-ordinator will be responsible for overseeing and managing this facility ensuring its use is maximised and is developed as a centre of excellence for playing the sport.

Manager – National Junior Performance Network

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for devising, implementing and overseeing a programme to develop and increase the numbers of young athletes between the ages of 7-17 throughout Scotland with high performance potential. A key element of this will be identifying, overseeing and developing suitably qualified coaches.
