Glasgow’s Emirates Arena will be the home to the Scottish Open Badminton Championships, being held from Wednesday 23-Sunday 27 November 2016.This annual event is part of the Badminton World Federation Grand Prix event series, giving fans the chance to see world class badminton and celebrate home grown success stories.
This year’s Scottish Open promise to be even bigger and better than ever, as we finalise our preparations for the Glasgow 2017 World Championships.
Scottish Commonwealth Games silver medallist Kirsty Gilmour will once again lead Scotland's players into competition against a host of international stars as Glasgow’s Emirates Arena once more plays host to world class action in the world’s fastest racquet sport.
Tickets will be on sale from mid-September, with a range of ticket options available to suit all budgets and an early bird discount available to anyone who books their ticket by 23 October 2016.

Prepare to watch in awe as some of the world’s best athletes display amazing feats of power, speed, strength & agility as they compete for the title of Scottish Open Champion.
The event will feature men’s and women’s singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles. Play will take place over five days of competition starting with the qualifying rounds and men’s singles on Wednesday 23 November and culminating in a thrilling climax on Sunday 27 November with the finals of all five events.
