SPEED ENDURANCE

On a football pitch or an area 350m in circumference.

1 set consists of 8 x 1 lap under allocated time.

U11 = 1min 45secs per lap.

U13 = 1min 30secs per lap.

U15 = 1min 15secs per lap.

Break between laps is a ratio of 1:1 i.e. If it takes 1min 20 to complete a lap then the rest is 1min 20.

Rest for approximately 4 minutes and repeat process.

3 COMPLETE SETS IN TOTAL.

The goal is to be under your allocated time but DO NOT GO TOO FAST.

SPEED

On half a football pitch or an area approximately 100m in length.

1. Sprint from A – B        

2. Jog from B – C              

3. Sprint from C – D        

4. Jog from D – A    

Running

 

REST

Numbers 1 to 4 above, plus rest = 1 rep

1 set consists of 8 x 1 rep

Break between laps is a ratio of 1:3 i.e. If it takes 30secs to complete 2 sprints then the rest is 90secs.

Rest for approximately 4 minutes and repeat process.

3 COMPLETE SETS IN TOTAL.
