When did you start playing badminton and why?: Have played different sports all my life and went along with my mum and dad to have a go at badminton, and as they say the rest is history.
First badminton memories: not being allowed to stay to the end of the club night as I had to be in my bed by 9pm!!
What do you enjoy most about being a badminton player? Meeting lots of different people and the challenge of winning.
If not badminton then…: enjoying outdoors, in particular going for walks with my wonderful dog.
Tips for young players: never give up and remember everyone wants to win. It’s easy to be a good winner.
