Typical week Training Schedule: Monday – 2 hour training with national squad; Tuesday – 2 hour training with national squad; Wednesday – 1 hour gym and 1 hour private lesson; Thursday – 1 and a half hour gym session; Friday – rest; Saturday – 2 hour training with national squad; Sunday – rest/ light exercises in gym
When did you start playing badminton and why? In primary 3 in school as my older brother already played and there was a school club
First badminton memories: Getting taken for lessons with one of my first coaches, John Murphy
What do you enjoy most about being a badminton player? The feeling of success which you feel when you have achieved a goal you have set yourself
If not Badminton Then: Many other sports which I was talented at: rugby, athletics, etc
Tips for young players: always give 100% percent in training and focus at all times and especially if you are having a bad day because they count the most
Hobbies: Football, cycling, going out with friends
