Glenearn Badminton Club: Gold Gifted at Christmas
A huge well done to Glenearn Juniors who welcomed Logan McConachie (Sports Development Officer) to their training session as he presented the club with the Live Active Gold Paces Award.
The award is a culmination of years of hard work, first started by previous club president John Grant and in recognition of Glenearn’s clubs continued commitment to sound governance, focus on community and inclusion.
Current Club President, Frazer Robertson said: “This has been a fantastic year for our club, seeing our membership grow across Juniors, Seniors and Returner sections, awarded club of the year by Badminton Scotland, participation in the ‘Sport for Change Network’ and continued support of the Perth & Kinross Disability Sport Annual Tournament.
“All this has been achieved while ensuring we remain a welcoming and inclusive club, ensuring everyone has access to sport. We look forward to 2024 and embracing what new opportunities it brings”.
