Easter Badminton Eggstravaganza is a massive hit

Over the Easter break, BADMINTONscotland held a 3-day Easter camp at the Sir Craig Reedie Centre for players off all abilities.

The camp was attended by 28 children aged between 8 and 17 years old from all over Scotland.

The aim of the camp was to develop technical skills, tactical knowledge and physical ability, alongside having fun and playing games.

It looked like all the players who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we hope  that they have learnt some new skills which they can take forward into the next season.

One of the players commenting on the camp said “The 3 days is a great length of camp - it's enough time to get some development”

Another participant praised the quality of the coaching “we had been before and felt the coaching has always been excellent

The high quality of coaching on offer was clearly appreciated by the participants and we want to say thanks again to all the coaches who came in to help deliver the camp over the 3 days.

Keep a look out for more development activities that BADMINTONscotland will be hosting.
