We are undergoing an exciting period of change at Badminton Scotland and are currently recruiting for three different positions, with the closing date for all three roles Monday 1 July.

Regional Development Officer – Grampian
The successful candidate will be pivotal in developing badminton in the Grampian region.
Taking responsibility for growing the network of clubs, schools, colleges and universities, the role involves working with stakeholders to develop opportunities for participation and progression for players of all ages and abilities throughout Grampian.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of an effective competition infrastructure within club badminton across Scotland.
Promoting badminton as a competitive sport at all levels of the game from grassroots players right up to national competitions will be a key objective.
The successful candidate will also play a key role in developing the use of Badminton Scotland’s existing 6-court badminton hall, overseeing and managing the facility as well as identifying opportunities to maximise its use.
Manager – National Junior Performance Network
The successful candidate will be responsible for devising, implementing and overseeing a programme to develop and increase the numbers of young athletes between the ages of 7-17 throughout Scotland with high performance potential.
A key part of the role will be identifying, overseeing and developing suitably qualified coaches as well as ensuring the programme complies with the physical and technical standards required of Badminton Scotland’s High Performance strategy.
