BADMINTONscotland and its partners look forward to welcoming 60 countries from around the globe to Glasgow for the World Team Badminton Championships in 2007.

For seven days in June, Scotstoun International Arena, just north of the River Clyde, will play host to the worldís best badminton athletes. Some 1000 competitors and 600 team and technical officials and media personnel will join the 450 volunteers who will deliver a sporting occasion of truly international magnitude.

This spectacle of sporting excellence will rival the World Championship scenes of 1997, where spectators at the same venue witnessed the longest menís singles final in the history of the game.

Spectators will be treated to a display of the highest levels of sporting skill, explosive power and athletic genius guaranteed to entertain and inspire.
