Lanarkshire Junior Singles League: August 2023 

The Lanarkshire Badminton Group has just launched the Lanarkshire Junior League (August 2023) competition on Tournament software. The format is the same as previous years with junior players from 7 to 18 being eligible to play in a one event in a pools-based format.

We are inviting players from previous editions of the tournament as well as players new to the competition.

The tournament will follow its usual format with players placed in pools based entirely on playing ability independent of age and gender.  Starting order will be based on performance in the  previous League Events and for new comers based on their playing history and relevant results. 

  • We will be playing the event at the newly refurbished Alistair McCoist Complex in East Kilbride.
  • Play will start at 9.30am and finish at around 3.00pm on Sunday the 27th  August. 

Please note: Badminton Scotland supported events using Tournament Software will automatically check entrants for Badminton Scotland affiliation status. All players will be required to be a member before Tournament Software will enable them to continue through the entry process. To ensure everyone gets the best chance to enter we are bringing forward the entry close date by a week to Wednesday 16th August.
