Last chance to enter U11 Nationals

The U11 Nationals will be held at Scotstoun’s National Badminton Academy on Sunday 6 October and the closing date for entries is Wednesday 18 September.

Although it is classed as a National Championships the emphasis is very much on participation.

Matches are initially played in groups, followed by a knock-out competition. But rather than only the group winners progressing to the knock-out draws, every player will get the opportunity to progress with group winners progressing to knockout draw A, runners-up progressing to the B knock-out draw and so on, depending on the number of players/pairs in each event.

This ensures all players have the opportunity to play lots of matches against opponents of a similar ability.
