Margaret McIntosh (1934 –2021)

It is with great sadness that Badminton Scotland has learned of the death of Margaret ‘Maggie’ McIntosh on 1^st August 2021.

Maggie held the title of Scottish National Champion in 1956 and won three more titles up until 1961. She also held titles at the Irish Open in 1956 and 1958, the French Open (19560, the Welsh Open (1956) and the Scottish Open in 1959.

She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and the badminton community.
