RSL BEC Para Badminton Event 2022
The RSL BEC (Badminton Europe) Para badminton Event 2022 was organised in close cooperation with the National Badminton Association of Austria, from the 11 – 13 of November 2022.
With the caption ‘learning, sharing, and making new friends in the European Para badminton community’, the Badminton Europe event consisted of the BWF Coaches course Module 13 – Coaching players with disabilities and an administrators’ course.
BEC invited all members to apply to the event which is designed to help administrators kick start and develop Para badminton in their countries.
The objectives of the RSL BEC Para badminton Event are:
- To assist, educate and include current and new Para badminton coaches into the BWF/BEC coaching system
- To provide administrators with tools and best practices for Para badminton development and share experiences
Scotland’s Head Para Coach, Kirsty Flockhart told us: “The trip to Austria was fab, it was so nice to meet lots of new coaches and share ideas and the course was a nice refresher and good fun.”
