Silver for Stalker and Bronze for McCallister at MK Gold

Congratulations to Brooke Stalker (Webber Badminton) who lifted two Silver Medals at the Badminton England Gold U17 held at the National Badminton Centre.  Brooke lost out in both Girls Doubles and Mixed Doubles with some good performances throughout the weekend.

Edinburgh’s Ishbel McCallister reached the Semi-finals in the Girls Singles event and won Bronze.  Glasgow School of Sport players Lewis Coghill and Katrina Chan competed in the Gold Star, both winning group matches but were unable to progress to the knock out stages whilst Imogen Meldrum competed well in the group stages in the Girls Singles.

Overall a good weekend to gauge against the very best players in the UK at under 17 level.  Brooke is pictured with Girls Doubles Partner, Grace Sachdeva (England).
