Slovak Junior 2023 Round Up
Well done to Ishbel McCallister & Brooke Stalker who reached the final of the Women’s Doubles in Trencin, Slovakia following a three set thriller against Croatia’s Ivanovicova/Vybochova in the semi final.
Ishbel and Brooke faced LEE Pin Yi/TPELIAO Jui-Chi in the final but the Chinese Taipei pair carried the edge with a 18-21 18-21 win over our Scots.
Over in the men’s singles, Matthew Waring reached the quarter finals after a string of wins against Czech and Malaysian players in the opening rounds. Matthew went head-to-head with 5th seed Stithapragnya Reddy Saddi narrowly missing out on a place in the semi finals (21-18 21-18).
