Lanarkshire U15/U19 Junior Open

We are playing the 2026 Under 15/19 Junior Open on the weekend of 16/17th May at the Sir Craig Reedie Badminton Centre(SCRBC) in Govan, Glasgow.  We are playing the usual format of events with the preliminary rounds of all singles events on Saturday morning/early afternoon.  All the preliminary rounds of the level doubles events will be played on Saturday afternoon and possibly semi-finals as well depending on the entry.  We hope to finish around 7pm on Saturday evening. We will play the two mixed doubles events on Sunday morning with the singles semi finals following on around midday( some level doubles events semi finals might also be played on Sunday as well.  All the finals will be played from 1.30pm on Sunday with an expected finish before 5pm.

We’ve recently taken advantage of the facilities at the SCRBC and run a cafe over the two days of the tournament.  We plan to do the same for the U15/19 Junior Open. We will be providing hot and cold drinks, hot rolls, toasties, sandwiches and home baking.
