Season 2026/27 Tournament Calendar & Guidelines

The tournament calendar for the 2026/27 season is now available to view and download from the Badminton Scotland website.

It has been great to see the number of tournaments increase every season, giving Badminton Scotland members so many opportunities to enjoy and compete in the sport.

General Competition Regulations

Based on feedback in recent years from both players and tournament organisers regarding different tournaments and competitions being run to different standards and specifications, we have developed a set of regulations which can be downloaded here.

Senior Tournament Level Guidelines

We have developed guidelines to help players find tournaments suitable for their level of play. Tournament organisers are encouraged to communicate with players to guide them to enter appropriate levels of competition and Badminton Scotland is happy to provide guidance to both players and tournament organisers. Rankings

Please note, from week beginning Monday 27 July 2026, ranking points for senior Bronze and Copper events will be changing – the revised points can be found here.
