The prestigious Senior Scottish Cup is heading into its final stages, with the quarter finals, semi finals, and final all taking place on Saturday, 7th June 2025, at the Sir Craig Reedie Badminton Centre in Glasgow.
This year’s competition saw 19 teams enter from across Scotland. After regional qualifiers, eight teams have emerged to contest the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final – all to be played in a single action-packed day.
Path to the Finals
From the East Qualifiers, which featured 12 teams, an impressive five clubs have advanced to the quarter-final stage: AiYu BC, EBA 1, EBA 2, Western BC 1 and Western BC 2
The West Qualifiers saw six teams competing, with two advancing: Strathclyde BC and County BC – the 2023 champions, looking to reclaim their title
Representing the North, Granite City BC automatically advanced to the quarter-finals and will be hoping to make a strong impact in Glasgow.
This year’s finals promise fierce competition, especially with County BC, the 2023 winners, aiming to bounce back after losing the title in 2024 to Drongan BC. With Drongan not in the final eight this year, the door is wide open for a new or returning champion to take centre stage.
