When did you start playing badminton and why?
I started playing badminton at a local club on the Isle of Bute. I played here because my mum was the coach and started the club.
First badminton memories:
My mum would play at a local club with friends when I was a toddler. She would bring me along and while they were playing a match, I would play with my toys on a mat beside the court.
What do you enjoy most about being a badminton player?
Getting to be with my friends everyday and being able to travel doing my sport.

Netball
Tips for young players:
You don’t have to be the best player all the time, as long as you’re loving what you’re doing!

Movie nights with my friends and going hikes with my dog.
